Happy 4th Birthday #PaulParcs

To our son who is strong, independent and wise. Go chase after your dreams and be the best version of “you” always. Compete with yourself, not others and learn not to compare so you can enjoy a fruitful life ahead. You will go places near and far to fulfill your God given destiny.

Pray and love those who are difficult to love and be with. Forgive easily, be honest, be willing to be interrupted, speak life, be an encouragement, be gracious, be generous and be kind. Be patient and be joyful when waiting, if you get what you want praise God, if you don’t praise God still.

Keep making us laugh, kilig and proud but most of all live to please God and not the people around you. Choose to do what is right in His eyes, stay grounded, humble, always tap to our main source, soar high, excel and do great things for Jesus. Cheers to FOURever with you our little love! Our champion, our warrior! HAPPY BIRTHDAY! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

You’re Simply the Best!

I have to admit that my husband is a much better parent than I am. He is #PaulParcs teacher, disciplinarian and playmate at home. They may fight and argue at times but at the end of the day they share the biggest hug and they’re the best of friends!🤗

Always consistent, intentional, patient and loves like no other and I admire that about him. He has the energy and enthusiasm to do things for us unselfishly.👊🏼

Thank you for modeling a life of faith and worship to our son. I am so grateful to God that I get to bring up a child with you! You make life easier for me and #PaulParcs. We love having you around all the time. Thanks Tatty! Mommy Kikik and #PaulParcs loves you soooo mucho!😍

Off to a Good Start

Happy New You!

2018 is here. I would normally react to the new year with “where did the time go?” but this time I won’t. Every day was not wasted. The year 2017 has been sooo good to me, Rocky and Paul. It was a year of favor, answered prayers, fulfilled goals and dreams coming to life. It was a productive year for us indeed but we are expecting 2018 to be even better.

Rocky and I are off to a good start, for the first time in months we joined our local church’s Tuesday prayer meeting. We wanted to start our year right and what better way to start it than be in the presence of the Lord and fellow believers?

We’re at a cafe today to plan and write down our yearly goals, not just goals but FAITH goals. A list of what we are believing God for this year. If I go back to my 2017 planner, there’s not one empty page in there. I write my declaration at the start of each week and thanksgiving list at the end of the week. I can testify to the goodness of God! He answer prayers even the ones I deemed impossible. Nothing is too difficult for Him and it leaves me in awe all the time! I will be sharing my 2017 Highlights and will share my faith goals for this year on a separate writing.

The new year reminds me of a fresh start, new self, new habits, to reset, birth of new beginnings.

What’s your new year habit? What are you grateful to God for?😊

Changes in Life

These past few months have been filled with changes, life changes.

We moved house from Cebu City to Lapu-lapu City. My parents moved to Ilo-ilo City. Rocky resigned from his job of 9 years and pursued a work at home job just like me. Our little Paul have grown up fast and big from a calm little boy now to an active one! The list goes on…

I laughed and cried in between these changes but at the end of it all I know that changes in life are bound to happen. Too often these changes push us out of our comfort zone and it hurts, it can be painful, it’s not nice, it can be uncomfortable, agree? That’s the purpose of going out of your comfort zone, it’s meant to change things for the better, for your own good but what happens is we don’t like to go through the setbacks, we don’t want failures, we just want to get to our goal right away. Unfortunately, life is not like that. Life is now always easy. We don’t always get to the top just like that. There are no shortcuts.

Life is a series of unknown challenges and it’s funny how life can be such a big clown sometimes like the time when my nephew ran away with his girlfriend and my mom got admitted to the hospital. The moment you thought life is on your side, you take advantage of it and then BOOM! There are new set of surprises coming your way and it never ends, it doesn’t stop.  If only living life is easy but if it was easy, would I still call on to God? Would I still need his strength in me? Would I still hold on to his promises? It would have been easy but not fulfilling. I’m grateful for the challenges I face in my life everyday, it makes me draw strength from the ultimate source. I am nothing without God.

Through it all, I am just grateful that I have a wonderful and loving family and my God is bigger than all these challenges. Where would I be without you Lord? You are always good. 🙂

The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

Business Goal Unlocked

It’s been a while…

Hello blog! I’m back! It’s been a looong while (I know) but thanks to today’s turn around of events I decided to visit my blog site and BLOG! I don’t even have a title for this entry yet but we’ll see at the end of this blog if I could come up with something nice and catchy. 🙂

At the start of this year, we wrote in our journals as part of our yearly goals that we will start a small business. It was just 10 months ago but those months of waiting seemed like forever (I’ve become impatient! Shame on me.) We thought that we’d be able to start last August and then September but nothing happened and then finally in October it happened. Never thought it was possible but then “it happened”. God reminded me not to rush on anything, when the time is right, it will happen in His perfect time. God can open doors no man can shut.

I laughed at myself for wanting things to happen in an instant (there goes my millennial mentality!) God really knows when the right time is, his most perfect time. In waiting, our attitude is being changed.

  • Patience for one (I improved on this one big time!)
  • Humility (giving back the glory to God)
  • Trust (God is at work – BTS!)
  • Proactive waiting (being productive while waiting for it to happen)

Waiting changed me as a person. It wasn’t fun waiting but it was worth it and so today we started our small business at Ayala Center Cebu. It’s a food booth filled with yummy snacks that the whole family can enjoy. This is something I don’t want to miss on writing about, it’s an answered prayer and surely I will not keep silent about the goodness of God to me and my family.

This marks another milestone, a new season, a new beginning for me, Rocky and Paul. God can answer prayers, He is the dream giver and He makes all things possible in His time. Our achievements doesn’t come from the north, south, east or west; it comes from God. If God wants to set us somewhere at a specific time and place, He’ll do it. God knows where to find us when He wants to elevate and put his people in a specific place. Keep on trusting his ultimate plans.

Deuteronomy 8:18a “But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.”

Three-mendous JOY!

Now Three…

Be gentle, be kind, be good, be nice, be generous and be wise. Words would not suffice for all the things I want to teach you. Time is not enough for me to teach you values that I want to impart to you. Parenthood comes naturally and it amazes me how your tatty and I can teach you things one at a time or sometimes at the spur of the moment. I am always reminded to be a better, kinder and loving person towards other people because of you.

Although I don’t want to admit this, I hate seeing you grow up so fast… (sigh…) but you have to and while you’re growing up I need to learn how to let go of you so you can go and fulfill your God given destiny. That you may do great things in life because you are a planet shaker and a world changer!

I always tell you I love you ever since you were still an infant, now that you’ve grown older it’s your small voice that I can hear whispering to my ears I love you too mommy. You’d plant kisses all over my face, hug me and ask me to play with you like there’s no tomorrow.

I have these memories kept in my heart forever, if only I could hold on to you forever my little one, my Paul! That’s why mommy likes to take lots of pictures to capture every milestone, every smile, every move, every laugh you make and every single thing that we do together. There’s nothing like the love a mother has for her child!

Now that you’re three, we will have more funny moments, do lots of adventures together with tatty (Legoland here we come!), we will spend more quality time and just do spontaneous things that we all can enjoy and remember for the rest of our lives. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for you in the future!

I love you Paul. Your tatty loves you and so many other people because you all make us happy. You’re a joy giver! Three-mendous joy. Jesus loves you so much!
